Paul Milstein Hall

I recently received news about the on-going construction of Paul Milstein Hall, the new building at Cornell University by Rem Koolhaas and OMA, situated in between Rand Hall and Sibley Hall (places where many a memory precedes me!) After what seemed to be a decade of re-design, the new extension has finally broke ground.

The landscape has changed so much at Cornell since I left, both physically and emotionally. I see images of students in critiques and remember the nervous tremor that took over my body 10 yrs ago…, its been more than a decade.

The new hall cantilevers over the road behind Sibley and overlooks The Foundry; before a somewhat mysterious building no one seemed to figure out until you decide to enrich your Cornell experience and take on the sculpture class with the ever talented Todd McGrain.

Much looking forward to visiting Cornell again.
