Arch Away!

A new installation was unveiled in the garden of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London as part of the London Design Festival – 120 wood Ercol chairs. Measuring at 10-feet high, the installation is by Wallpaper magazine design and architecture editor Henrietta Thompson. It is said to be able to stand up on its own but is screwed together for additional support.

A would-be ideal place to spend the afternoon – the garden of the V and A where I spent many a day relaxing and conjuring up project proposals.
